One China-returnee hospitalised with cough
Earlier a charter flight of Biman Bangladesh arrived at Dhaka airport carrying 314 Bangladeshis
One Bangladeshi, who returned from China Saturday, has been hospitalised with cough last night.
"The person was admitted with cough on Sunday night from Hajj Camp, where Bangladeshis who returned from China are quarantined," said Kurmitola General Hospital Director Brigadier General Jamil Reza today.
He also said seven out of the eight Bangladeshis who were admitted to the hospital with high fever upon returning from China, have been sent to Ashkona Hajj Camp for quarantine as they were found negative in coronavirus tests.
Earlier a charter flight of Biman Bangladesh arrived at Dhaka airport carrying 314 Bangladeshis, including 15 children, from the coronavirus-struck Wuhan city of China on Saturday.
Later they were taken to Hajj camp in Ashkona, where they will be quarantined for next 14 days.
On the same day eight of the passengers, were taken to capital's Kurmitola General Hospital and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) as they had high fever.
