Tarique to bear medical cost of youth who sustained 100 bullet wounds during student movement

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Raman has taken the responsibilities of treatment of Mohammad Ibrahim, who suffered bullet wounds during the recent Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
A delegation of the "Amra BNP Poribar" today (18 October) visited Ibrahim at a city hospital and informed his family that Tarique Rahman, also chief patron of the organisation, has taken responsibility for his treatment.
Ibrahim, who came from a very poor family, suffered critical bullet injuries in police firing while taking part in the anti-discrimination student movement at Madan in Netrokona Upzila.
He sustained wounds of over 100 rubber bullets and one bullet reached near his brain after piercing his eye.
"Amra BNP Paribar" Member Secretary Krishibid Moksedul Momin Mithun, former Joint Convener of Netrokona district BNP Mirza Haider Ali, Amra BNP Paribar member Masud Rana Liton, Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Dhaka North City Unit Convener Shariful Alam Masum, among others, were present.
