Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has distributed his own freedom fighter allowance to 31 indigent freedom fighters of his constituency (Dhaka-12).
He distributed Tk7000 to each of the freedom fighters at his residence in Dhaka today, said a press release.
The minister told freedom fighters at the programme, "This is a gift from me so that everyone can celebrate Eid properly."

The minister saves his monthly freedom fighter allowance without spending it, and from time to time he gives the allowance to indigent freedom fighters of his own area.
