Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Smt Riva Ganguly Das on Monday visited Gopalganj to pay tribute to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The High Commissioner recalled Bangabandhu's contribution and sacrifice for the liberation of Bangladesh during her visit. She also laid a wreath at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu.
The high commissioner made the visit at the beginning of Mujib Barsho (2020), marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
