BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir decried that India is the only beneficiary of Bangladesh-India relationship, where Bangladesh has been giving unilaterally while getting nothing in return.
"Bangladesh would have got its share of water if the Teesta treaty was signed, although we are being told about finalising the Teesta agreement for quite sometimes now," said BNP secretary general while speaking at the 10th death anniversary prayer meet of former BNP secretary general late Khandaker Delwar Hossain on Tuesday.
Fakhrul said, "Border-killings are yet to be stopped, moreover, we haven't received the fair share of the rivers flowing into our country from India."

Denouncing the foreign minister's claim about the Teesta agreement, Fakhrul said that the country should have received its share of water if the agreement was completed ten years ago.
Earlier, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said the Teesta agreement was finalised long ago as the "Indian side even signed on every page of the agreement".
"The final deal is there, it just awaits implementation," he said, adding that New Delhi made repeated promises for its implementation in the past several years.
The foreign minister, however, simultaneously pointed out that the central government of India was facing hurdles from the West Bengal state government on the question of implementing the agreement.
