Industries ministry top in e-filing management
The ministry came first in providing services in the online paperless process among 58 ministries and divisions of all three categories – big, medium and small
The industries ministry has secured the top position on the use of "e-nothi" (e-fling) in official file management among 15 medium-category ministries.
The Aspire to Innovate (a2i) programme under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology published an evaluation report on the use of e-nothi in different government offices during April this year.
During the time, the industries ministry used online office solutions the most for its official activities.
The government introduced the electric filing system in 2016, aiming at quickening official work.
The ministry came first in providing services in the online paperless process among 58 ministries and divisions of all three categories – big, medium and small, according to the report.
It secured the top position among all the 15 medium-category ministries in January and March this year too.
The industries ministry has always been ahead of others in providing quick public services through the online paperless process.
