Japan to continue support for Bangladesh's ongoing projects: Ambassador Kiminori
“Japan will continue to assist in completing ongoing projects and will maintain future cooperation,” said the ambassador during a courtesy meeting today (25 August) with Wahiduddin Mahmud, adviser to the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Education.
Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Iwama Kiminori has expressed Japan's commitment to providing all kinds of support to the current government and ongoing projects.
"Japan will continue to assist in completing ongoing projects and will maintain future cooperation," said the ambassador during a courtesy meeting today (25 August) with Wahiduddin Mahmud, adviser to the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Education.
He added, "Japan's partnership will persist, ensuring the completion of projects and continued support in the future."
The ambassador also mentioned that he had already met with the chief adviser and the finance adviser.
Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud thanked the ambassador and said, "Japan has always been a good friend of Bangladesh and is its largest development partner. He urged Japan to continue its support for the development of technical education."
In response, the ambassador pledged to continue supporting the development of technical education in Bangladesh and to offer scholarships for Bangladeshis to study in Japan.
