Jashore UP member dies in blast while making bomb
The deceased was identified as Nazmul Alam Liton, UP member of Panchpota Ward – 8 of Hajirabagh Union in Jhikargachha Upazila
An Upazila Parishad (UP) member was critically injured while making a bomb in Jashore's Jhikargachha Upazila on Monday. He later died on the way while being brought to Dhaka for advanced treatment at around 2 am on the same day.
The deceased was identified as Nazmul Alam Liton, UP member of Panchpota Ward – 8 of Hajirabagh Union in Jhikargachha Upazila.
According to Jashore Police Spokesperson and Additional Superintendent of Police Touhidul Islam, Liton's two arms and his body were damaged in the blast while he was making a bomb in the garden next to his house.

"His family members first took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital but when his condition deteriorated, the doctors referred him to Dhaka. He later died on the way to Dhaka," Touhidul added.
