Lawyer seeks ACC directive to investigate corruption allegations against Shakib Al Hasan
An application has been filed with the Anti-Corruption Commission ACC for investigating the income tax account and corruption allegations of former parliamentarian, businessman and cricket player Shakib Al Hasan.
Barrister Milhanur Rahman Naomi filed the application today seeking necessary action regarding the matter.
He accused Shakib of misappropriating Tk104 crore in the stock market, involvement in gambling, gold smuggling, embezzlement of money by defrauding crab traders and corruption in cricket.
In the application the lawyer said as the allegations are specific and documented, legal action must be taken against Shakib Al Hasan and all others involved.
