A special function was held at the museum's auditorium premises marking the event, maintaining proper rules of hygiene to curb the spread of coronavirus, said a press release issued by the museum.
People also participated in the program virtually using Zoom, an online video communications platform.
Internationally renowned historian Deepesh Chakraborty, a professor at the University of Chicago, delived a commemorative speech at the event.
Sarwar Ali, trustee of the Liberation War Museum gave the introductory speech at the event while Sara Jaker, trustee and member-secretary of the museum, presented the annual report.
Renowned Rabindra Sangeet artist Rezwana Chowdhury Bonya and 'Drupad Kalakendra', under the direction of Shukla Sarkar performed at the function.
