Man held over Pathao driver’s murder
DB recovered Pathao rider’s motorcycle, mobile phone and helmet from his possession.
The Detective Branch (DB) of police today has arrested a man from Shahjahanpur area of the capital in connection with the murder of a Pathao driver.
The arrestee has been identified as Md. Nur Uddin alias Sumon.
“Nur has confessed to his crime during primary interrogation”, said Abdul Baten, Additional Commissioner (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirming the arrest, in a press briefing held at DMP media centre.

The arrestee was involved in small theft crimes, but has no previous criminal records with any police stations, added Abdul Baten.

The Pathao rider Md Milon, 35, was killed on Mouchak-Malibagh flyover on August 26.
