Man sued for killing cat in Narayanganj

A case has been filed against a man on Sunday as he reportedly killed a cat by hanging at Madanganj of Bandar upazila.
Animal Lovers of Bangladesh (ALB) Shelter's head of operation officer Farzana Jaman filed the case against Rabbi Hasan, son of Anowar Hossain of Madanganj, with Bandar Police Station under the Animal Welfare Act 2019.
According to the case statement, a cat killed some pet pigeons of Rabbi on October 12 and October 23. Being enraged, Rabbi killed the cat by hanging it and posted photos and video of the killing on Facebook which went viral.
