A woman committed suicide after her three-year-old son died in Bogura's Nandigram on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Lipi Rani, 26, and her son Bappy.
"Family members came hearing Lipi's shout when she was unable to wake her son," Officer-in-Charge of Nandigram Police Station, Shawkat Kabir said.

Lipi poisoned herself when she got to know her son died, he added.
Later, sensing the matter, family members took her to a local hospital where doctors pronounced her dead, the OC added.
