Munia’s suicide: Action if anyone found involved, says home minister
"Investigation is underway in the case filed over her suicide"
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said that action will be taken as per law if anyone found involved in the suicide of the college girl in a Gulshan flat.
"Investigation is underway in the case filed over her suicide," the minister made the remark on Wednesday, reports Somoy News.
A second-year college student - named Mosarat Jahan Munia - was found dead inside a flat in the capital's Gulshan-2 area on Monday night.
Following her death, Munia's elder sister Nusrat Jahan filed a case with Gulshan Police Station accusing Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anbir of "Abetment of Suicide."
Afterwards, a Dhaka court imposed a travel ban on Anvir barring him from leaving the country.
