Naripokkho to hold event to commemorate liberation war martyrs
This year’s theme is “Muktijuddho O Ihojagotik Rastrer Swapno” (Liberation war and the dream of a secular state)
Naripokkho will organise "Alor Swarane Katuk Aandhar" (Let the darkness pass in the memory of light), remembering the thousands of lives lost in the liberation war, who will be forever enshrined in our memory.
This year's theme is "Muktijuddho O Ihojagotik Rastrer Swapno" (Liberation war and the dream of a secular state), according to a press release.
The event will be held on December 15, at 8 pm. Due to the current coronavirus situation, rather than the usual venue, Central Shaheed Minar, the event will be held online and will be broadcast live on Naripokkho's Facebook page.

Naripokkho has been organizing this event every year since 1988, lighting candles, reminiscing and holding cultural programs at the central Shaheed Minar on the eve of Victory Day.
