Planning minister’s mobile phone snatcher identified
Police have detected the mugger who had snatched the mobile phone of Planning Minister MA Mannan from the capital's Agargaon area.
However, the police are yet to recover the device, said ASM Mahatab Uddin, deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (Mirpur Division).
"We have identified the snatcher who used to sleep beneath the 'Aeroplane Monument' in Bijoy Sarani intersection. Police also found out his address. The operation is underway to nab him," Mahatab Uddin added.

On Sunday evening, the minister was returning home from his office. When his official vehicle reached the Bijoy Sarani signal, the minister was using his phone with the vehicle's window rolled down.
All of a sudden a mugger snatched the minister's phone – an iPhone X – and ran away within seconds.
