PM mourns death of Syed Abul Maksud

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of columnist Syed Abul Maksud.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and extended condolence to the bereaved family members.
Syed Abul Maksud has died at the Square Hospital of Dhaka this evening. He was 74.

He breathed his last around 7:09pm, the hospital director Wahi Uddin Mahmud told The Business Standard, adding that he was brought there dead.
He started to feel breathing complications at his residence and was immediately taken to the hosptial.
