300 people sued over Sunday's clash at Press Club
Besides, around 250 unnamed people have been made accused
A case has been filed against 300 people, including 47 leaders and activists of BNP and Chhatra Dal, over Sunday's clash with police at National Press Club.
Police filed the case with Shahbagh Police Station early Monday, said Officer-in-charge of Mohammad Mamun-or-Rashid.
Besides, around 250 unnamed people have been made accused in the case.
So far 12 people have been shown arrested in the case.
Attempt to murder, attack and vandalism charges have been brought against the accused, said the OC adding that the arrested accused would be produced before the court.
Several members of the police were injured in the clash. During the clash, Chhatra Dal leaders and activists attacked the police, including vandalising the windows of a temporary police box adjacent to the press club, said the police official.
