The interim government led by Prof Muhammad Yunus cannot be allowed to fail in carrying out its duties, said BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today (8 February).
The fear of being disappeared for criticising the government is now gone, he said, adding, "We will criticise [the government] for success. But will not allow the Muhammad Yunus-led government to fail."

"The environment for democracy to take root has been created in the country. India is struggling to accept this. The way Indian media are talking and taking Sheikh Hasina's side cannot be the language of a democratic country," Rizvi said.
"A counter-revolution is lurking in the corner. We cannot let that happen. We must stay united to implement the expectations of the revolution and democracy," he added.
