Khaleda Zia home quarantined
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will remain in home quarantine at her Gulshan residence until the corona situation of the country gets better.
BNP's Publicity Secretary Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
After Khaleda reached her the residence being released from jail for six months, eight members of party's standing committee and a team of medical board led by Professor Dr FF Rahman also met her.
Then the medical board made the decision to keep her in quarantine, quoting FF Rahman, standing committee member and party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul made the disclosure to the media.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia walked out of the jail after 25 months this afternoon as the government suspended her jail term by six months on two conditions.
The conditions are - Khaleda has to receive treatment at her home during this period and she cannot go abroad.
