Our victory is certain: Mirza Fakhrul
The BNP secretary general said youth should come forward to partake in the movements
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the party is certain about achieving victory through its movements.
"Time is very short, let's unite and continue the struggle. Our victory is certain," Fakhrul said during a discussion meeting on Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury at Abdus Salam Hall of the National Press Club on Monday.
He highlighted various aspects of Dr Zafarullah's life in the programme and expressed his deep respect for his life devoted to human welfare.

"I don't know how much respect Zafarullah Bhai has got from the country in his capacity. But the nation will always remember him. He has only worked for social welfare. Even though he is gone, he has left his ideals," he further said at the event organised by Maulana Bhasani Followers Parishad.
"People of the country do not want the current government in power. Zafarullah Bhai protested against them. His aim was to remove this fascist government and establish a people's government," Mirza Fakhrul said.
The BNP secretary general said youth should come forward to partake in the movements.
"Let us fight unitedly to protect this nation," he added.
Earlier, President of Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal ASM Abdur Rab, Jatiya Party (Kazi Jafar) General Secretary Mustafa Jamal Haider, General Secretary of Gano Forum Advocate Subrata Chowdhury among others spoke in the event memory of Dr Zafarullah Chowdhury.
