RAB detains man in connection with online casino business
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday detained a man for his involvement in the illegal online casino business.
The detainee, identified as Selim Pradhan, 40, was caught at the Hazrat Shahjalal Airport.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, RAB-1 Commanding Officer Lt Col Sarwar Bin Kashem (Legal and Media Wing) said: "We detained Selim in connection with the online casino business. Now RAB is questioning him. Legal action will be taken against the detainee."

RAB sources said Selim Pradhan is the mastermind behind online gambling in Bangladesh.
He was trying to flee to Thailand on flight TG-322 of Thai Airways that was scheduled to leave Dhaka on 1:30pm.
