Real est companies, house owners fined for Aedes larvae

Different mobile courts of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) fined three real estate companies and several house owners a total of Tk 1,70,000 after finding larvae of Aedes mosquito on Wednesday.

Sri Mohon Saha, sight engineer of Padma Construction Associates, and Mohammad Sohel, manager of Nurani Constructions, in Azimpur Colony area were also fined Tk 25,000 each.

The teams led by executive magistrates conducted drives at several houses in RK Mission Road, Dayaganj, Kathalbagan and some other areas, where they found larvae of Aedes mosquito.
The house owners got fined a total of Tk 20,000.
