Ministry of Religious Affairs has opened a control room at the secretariat to ensure a peaceful celebration of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Bangali Hindu community.
The control room will be in operation from 10 to 14 October in room number 1424, level-14 of building six, an official release said today.
A senior assistant secretary has been given the charge of the control room.
