Sarwar Bin Kashem takes charge as RAB spokesperson
Lt Col Kashem has been serving the elite force since 2016
Lieutenant Colonel Sarwar Bin Kashem on Thursday took charge as the director of the legal and media wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
He has replaced Lt Col Md Emranul Hassan.
Lt Col Kashem has been serving the elite force since 2016. He took charge as the commanding officer of RAB-1 in 2017.

The official came to RAB from Bangladesh Army in deputation. He got commissioned in 2000 in 43rd BMA long course.
Lt Col Kashem, a decorated officer of Bangladesh Army, received Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) as the recognition of his professionalism.
