Saudi Arabia sends back 130 Bangladeshi workers
The workers said they were detained by Saudi police while they were returning from their workplaces
Saudi Arabia again deported 130 Bangladeshi workers on Thursday, as part of its crackdown on undocumented workers.
The workers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:20pm.
However, the workers alleged that many of them fell victims despite having proper documents.
The workers said they were detained by Saudi police while they were returning from their workplaces.
Though the workers contacted their employers, they did not take any responsibility of them.
The workers with valid documents were also taken to the deportation camp, they alleged.
This year, at least 11 to 12 thousand workers have been sent back to the country from Saudi Arabia.
