Several people including a journalist were injured as Awami League and BNP supporters locked into a clash today in the capital's Gopibagh area during mayoral election campaign of BNP candidate Ishraq Hossain.
Vehicles were vandalised and the two-group locked into a chase and counter-chase during the clash.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Wari Division Acting Deputy Commissioner (DC) Iftekhar Ahmed said, "We have heard about the incident and looking into the matter."
