Some people trying to destroy Bangladesh's religious harmony: Adviser
Some people are trying to destroy the religious harmony of Bangladesh, Religious Affair Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain said today (14 October).
"They have no religion and their numbers are insignificant. They are lurking among us. We must always be vocal against them," the adviser said at an event organised by the Bangladesh Buddhist Association in Chattogram.
The Buddhist leaders informed the adviser about the issues they face while obtaining visas for the pilgrimage to Buddha Gaya in India.
In response, the adviser said visa-related issues will be discussed with the high commission of India
The leaders also demanded the government to declare public holidays on Probarona Purnima.
