Leaders of Swecchashebok League, a volunteer wing of the ruling Awami League, have been protesting in front of the party office in the capital today, demanding justice for the unit's members, who sustained injuries during the Friday clash.
They claimed that 84 of their members were injured in the confrontation that took place on the premises of Baitul Mukarram mosque after the Jummah prayer on Friday (26 March).
At the same time, Juba League has also been reported to be holding a demonstration at the same location.
Earlier on Friday, a group of demonstrators, who are protesting against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Dhaka visit, locked into a clash with police and Awami League men on the premises of Baitul Mukarram mosque in the capital.
