The leading industrial conglomerate has opened its doors to more than 1,000 flood-affected individuals, providing them with shelter and three meals a day.
Vice Chairman of PHP Family, Mohammed Mohsin, announced that relief materials are being prepared to support an additional 5,000 people starting from Saturday. The relief package includes essential items such as food, clothing, sanitary products for women, and special food for children.
"We have opened the doors of our factory, and all the flood-affected people are taking shelter here," Mohsin said.
Mohsin emphasised the need for continued support, especially as the floodwaters recede. "The real disaster will start after the water recedes. It will be very necessary to be by their side. The PHP Family is committed to serving the country."
In addition to providing shelter and food, the PHP Family has deployed several boats to aid in rescue operations in the flood-affected areas.
