The detainees are Jamal Hossain Mridha, 45, a businessman and his two cohorts Mostofa, 35, and Manik, 34.
"A raid was conducted at Jamal's house around 3.30 am on information that a big consignment of yaba tablets will arrive there, and recovered the money and yaba tablets during the raid," said Mizanur Rahman, sub-inspector of the Detective Branch of Police of the district.
Narayanganj Police Super Harun-Ur-Rashid said Jamal claimed that he has mosquito coil factories, but he failed to show any license. He could not show the sources of the money seized from his home.
