Two ships on the way to Saint Martin’s to bring back stranded tourists
All signals have been brought down from 9am this morning. Water transports can move normally now
Keari Sindbad and Keari Cruise are on the way to Saints Martin's Island after four days to bring back around 1,200 stranded tourists.
Shah Alam, manager of Keari Sindbad and Cruise confirmed the matter to The Business Standard saying they left at 9:30am today.
"After the met office clearance, District Commissioner Md. Kamal Hossain permitted water transports to move," Alam said.
Abdur Rahman, assistant meteorologist of Cox's Bazar Met Office said, "All signals have been brought down from 9am this morning. Water transports can move normally now."
Around 1,200 tourists were stuck at Saint Martin's amid cyclone Bulbul since Thursday and suffered food crisis and health related issues.
