Two siblings died after having poisonous food in Khulna's Rupsha upazila.
The deceased are Irani, 5 and Abdul Gani, 4, children of Masud Rana, a grocery shop owner in the Srifaltala Chandansri area under Rupsha upazila in the district.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Rupsha Police Station Md Monirul Islam said the siblings became sick after eating apple during yesterday's dinner.

They were rushed to local health complex from where they were shifted to Khulna General Hospital.
Later, the minors were shifted to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) as their condition further deteriorated. The siblings later died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, he said.
Dr Suhash Ranjan Halder, focal person of KMCH, said they died due to poisonous foods.
The bodies were handed over to their family members after post-mortem examinations today, he said.
