Workshop on sustainability reporting held in Dhaka
The workshop is intended to initiate the alignment of Bangladeshi garment factories with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national priority indicators (39+1) of Bangladesh government
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in collaboration with Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) organized a workshop titled "Sustainability Reporting" on Sunday in capital's Gulshan Club.
The workshop is intended to initiate the alignment of Bangladeshi garment factories with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national priority indicators (39+1) of Bangladesh government.
The session was conducted by Pallavi Atre, sustainability expert at GRI South Asia and was facilitated by Linda Germanis, private sector specialist from UNDP.
The workshop began with the welcome remarks by BGMEA President Rubana Huq while Wasim Zakariah, Chairperson of BGMEA Standing Committee on SDG Affairs also present at the session.
