Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association elects new president, general secretary
The election was held at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday
Sayadur Rahman, director of the EBL Investments Ltd, and Riyad Matin, managing director of the BMSL Investment Ltd, have been elected as president and general secretary of the Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) for the year 2020-2021.
The election was held at the FARS Hotel and Resorts in Dhaka on Saturday, said a press release.
Former president of the BMBA, MA Hafiz was the chief election commissioner.

Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, immediate past president of the association, congratulated the new executive committee and handed over the charge to the new president.
