EON Group celebrates 20 years of founding

Agro-based institution EON Group of Industries celebrated its 20th founding anniversary through a virtual event at Tejgaon EON Convention Center on Saturday at 10:30am.
Momin Ud Dowla, chairman and managing director (MD) of EON group, participated in the virtual celebration as the chief guest along with more than three thousand officers and workers of the institution.
"We are the only institution focusing on the issue of food safety and security. This initiative known as 'farm to dining' is taking steps to deliver healthy food to consumers" he said during his speech.

The Director General of the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute Dr. Yahia Mahmud, Director General of Bangladesh Livestock Research Institute Dr. Nathu Ram Sarker, Director General of Bangladesh Agricultural Extension Directorate Dr. Md. Abdul Muid and the Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University Professor Dr. Lutfar Rahman presented their speech as special guests.
During the virtual event a few departments of the EON group were honored for their success in the past few years. A raffle draw with 30 prices also took place during the event.
The MD of EON group also said "our goal is to develop all the sectors of Bangladesh's agriculture." And we are working towards it for the last 20 years, he added.
Agriculturalist Zabid Hassan, chief operating officer of Crop Agricultural Business; Tanim Ud Dowla, Director of EON Group; Md. Shamsujjoha, chief financial officer of EON Group and Sultan Mahmud, chief people's officer of the HR department, also presented their speech at the celebratory event.
The program was also participated by Group Director Sayida Dowla and Group Deputy Director A B A Sahid Ud Dowla.
