GPH Ispat declares 5% stock, 5% cash dividend
The shareholders unanimously approved the Audited Financial Statements of the company
GPH Ispat, one of the leading steel manufacturers in Bangladesh, has declared 5 percent cash and 5 percent stock dividend for its shareholders for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
The announcement came on Thursday at the 13th Annual General Meeting held at the City Convention Hall in Chattogram. GPH Ispat Ltd Chairman Md Alamgir Kabir presided over the meeting.
The shareholders unanimously approved the Audited Financial Statements of the company.
Managing Director Mohammad Jahangir Alam said the company in 2018-19 made a profit of Tk806.20 million – 21.04% more than that of the immediate past year.
GPH Ispat will keep on producing high quality product, he added.
Shareholders of the company present at the meeting requested the company to maintain its consistency.
