Harunur Rashid has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of NRB Commercial Bank Ltd.
Prior to that, he served as the senior executive vice president (SEVP), chief financial officer (CFO), and head of operations of the bank. He also acted as the head of the financial administration division and treasure division of NRBC Bank.
In 2013, he joined NRBC Bank working in Mercantile Bank for 14 years.

He attained multifarious experience in the field of Banking & Finance following his service at a number of important positions of both NRBC and Mercantile Bank.
Born on 10 December 1974, Rashid completed his B Com, M Com, and M Phil degrees in Marketing from the University of Dhaka.
