ICMAB seeks govt support for its rapid development
The ICMAB delegation made the urge during a meeting with BSEC chairman
The leaders of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) have sought all out support from the government for its further and rapid development.
The ICMAB delegation, headed by its president Abu Bakar Siddique, made the urge during a meeting with Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) chairman Prof Dr Shibli Rubaiyat-ul Islam, at his office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to professional interest, said a press release.
The ICMAB President apprised the chairman regarding the present status and activities of the institute.
The BSEC chairman highly appreciated the role of the professional accountants in the economic development of the country and assured to provide full cooperation for the development of the CMA profession.
Treasurer AKM Kamruzzaman, past president and council members ASM Shaykhul Islam and Md Jasim Uddin Akond were, among others, present in the meeting.
