Islami Bank launches 'Cellfin' app
Any Bangladeshi citizen can open an instant Cellfin account through a smartphone with a national identity card
Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd has launched the digital platform "Cellfin" app for financial services alongside banking.
The app with the slogan 'Banking and Beyond' will provide Instant Visa card, e-KYC based bank account opening without branch, direct fund transfer to other banks/card through EFT and NPSB, add money, request money, e-commerce/merchant payment, credit card bill payment, utility bill payment, utility Other banking services including remittance acceptance through Visa Direct.
This app has the facility of adding 'mCash' to any card, account, and mobile banking account of Islami Bank and many other facilities.

Chairman of the Bank Prof Md Nazmul Hasan was present as the Chief Guest at the function today at the ceremony in Islami Bank's tower.
Dr Tanvir Ahmed, director of the Bank was the special guest on the occasion presided over by Managing Director and CEO Md Mahbub Ul Alam.
The bank's senior executives, head of various zones, customers, and well-wishers joined the event through a virtual platform.
"Islami Bank has made significant progress in the use of financial technology and digital banking services," said Dr Tanvir Ahmed.
"As a result of providing modern banking services and excellence in technology-rich services, Islami Bank has been gaining recognition in the world's field beyond the borders of the country."
