LafargeHolcim distributes equipment for sustainable fish farming
LafargeHolcim Bangladesh Limited has recently distributed materials for sustainable fish farming among 21 families at Chhatak in Sunamganj district which include nets, cages, fish, and also fish meal, states a press release.
As a result of fish farming inside the cage, there is less chance of fish being washed away in the flood waters. It is expected that each family will be able to earn 60-70 thousand taka within two months because of the initiative taken by LafargeHolcim Bangladesh.
