Sayma invests in Jobike
Since commencing journey from Cox’s Bazar in January 2018, Jobike has expanded services in eight territories across the country
Jobike, the country's first bicycle-rental startup that allows riders to rent a bike from an AI-enabled smartphone app, got its angel investor.
Sayma Rahman, a renowned tech professional, has announced her engagement with the startup, says a press release.
Regarding the involvement with Jobike, Sayma Rahman highlighted the environmental and health impact of cycling.
"We need to adopt a lifestyle which will lower our carbon footprint and promote fitness. Jobike has set an example in tech-enabled last mile solution in transportation with zero-carbon emission. And obviously, it ensures budget transport for students and young professionals", she explained.
Sayma has shown her excellence in different fields of telecom for over a decade with an award of "top progressive women leader in Bangladesh".
Since commencing journey from Cox's Bazar in January 2018, Jobike has expanded services in eight territories across the country including Jahangirnagar University, Chittagong University and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet. Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Mirpur-DOHS and Dhaka University in the capital.
