Shwapno employs woman in hardship

Shwapno, the country's largest grocery store chain, has stood beside Beby who was struggling to make a living for herself and her school-going son Din Islam.
Beby along with her son has been living in the capital's Mirpur area for years since her husband left her.
One and a half years ago, Beby began pulling a rickshaw. She was frequently seen in Mirpur 11 and 12 carrying passengers.

Recently, Sabbir Hasan Nasir, executive director of Shwapno, heard of Beby and decided to employ this woman in the organisation.
Following that decision, Shwapno has employed Beby as a delivery person at its Mirpur-11 outlet. She will deliver products using her own rickshaw.
Being a Shwapno employee, Beby expressed her gratitude to the authorities of the company, saying, "Before, I could hardly meet our needs with income from pulling rickshaw, but the new job will help me overcome hardship."
