The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has received video conference systems and AI solution from Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited.
This aid is aimed to help the fight of Bangladesh against Covid-19. It will support the ministry in providing multi-collaboration, remote communication and efficient screening.
The video conference system adopts a multi-scenario intelligent collaboration solution based on 4K video technologies. This system can be applied in several situations, such as epidemic prevention and control command, remote consultation, remote monitoring and effective collaboration. And the solution of AI-assisted screening and quantitative analysis system will help the hospitals improve diagnosis efficiency.

CEO of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd Zhang Zhengjun handed over the system and solution to the Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque at a program organized by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in the capital on Wednesday afternoon.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr A K Abdul Momen, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Ali Noor, Enterprise VP of Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Peter among others were present at the program. The state minister of ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak joined the event over video conference.
"I would like to thank Huawei for strengthening Bangladesh in dealing with Covid-19. Their advanced and intelligent solutions have helped China to ensure efficiency in managing this difficult situation. We can also utilize these resources for our help," Zahid Maleque said while speaking on the program.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said, "The long relationship between China and Bangladesh is a unique example of friendship. In continuation with that, it is great to know how an international company like Huawei stands with us to face the current world-facing threat Covid-19. "
"Huawei Bangladesh is willing to support Bangladesh in fighting against Covid-19, and Huawei Bangladesh has taken strict preventive measures to protect all of the staff also. In fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, Huawei will always be here and overcome these difficulties together," Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited CEO Zhang Zhengjun said.
