174 more members of Bangladesh Police have tested Covid-19 positive in the last 24 hours.
As of today, a total of 5507 police personnel have tested Covid-19 positive. Among them, 1,728 are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), according to the source of police headquarters.
So far, 5,538 policemen have been put to home quarantine while 1,585 are in the isolation. Some, 2,106 police personnel recovered from the infection till date.

Till now, 16 policemen including a civil staff who was a stenographer of DMP have died from the novel coronavirus.
