1943 policemen test covid-19 positive, fully recovered 298
Till now, seven policemen have died from the coronavirus.
A total of 1943 police personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Among them, 909 are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). Some 17 members of police have tested positive for the Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to sources at the police headquarters.
Till now, seven policemen have died from the coronavirus. All of them were posted in the DMP.
The seven members are Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Raghunath Roy, ASI Sultanul Arefin, ASI Abdul Khaleque, Traffic Constable Ashek Mahmud, Constable Jasim Uddin and Constable Jalal Uddin Khoka.

Till Thursday, 298 policemen have recovered from the novel coronavirus, said police sources.
Around 3,091 police personnel are under home quarantine, while 1,152 others are in isolation.
