55 more RAB officials test coronavirus positive in Narayanganj

Some 55 members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in Narayanganj.
All of the infected have been kept in isolation, RAB Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Imran Ullah Sarkar told The Business Standard on Sunday afternoon.
The infected members of the elite force are currently undergoing treatment at two isolation centres on the fourth floor of RAB-11 Headquarters and Crime Prevention Special Company located in Siddhirganj.
"Among the newly infected officials, 50 current members of RAB and five are former," Imran Ullah Sarkar said.
