7 more doctors infected with coronavirus in Jashore
Jashore Civil Surgeon, Dr Sheikh Abu Shaheen, said, 'Only one of the identified doctors showed symptoms. He works at an upazila health complex.'
Eleven people, including 7 doctors, have tested positive to coronavirus in Jashore. The test results from the Jashore University of Science and Technology were announced on Tuesday morning.
Jashore Civil Surgeon, Dr Sheikh Abu Shaheen, said, "Only one of the identified doctors showed symptoms. He works at an upazila health complex."
Dr Iqbal Kabir Zahid, head professor of the university's laboratory, said that 11 tested positive after examining 57 samples from Jashore.
The officer in charge of the Jashore Civil Surgeon's Office, Dr Rehnayaz, said, "Out of the 11 people, two are from Jashore General Hospital, two from the Sharsha Upazila Health Complex, two from Chaugachha Health Complex, one doctor and two health workers from Jhikargachha Health Complex. One nurse from Keshabpur, and one shopkeeper from Jhikargachha area.
