7,191 policemen contract Covid-19 in Bangladesh
Till now, 23 policemen have died from the Covid-19

As of Friday, 7,191 members of police have tested positive for Covid-19 across the country, according to Police Headquarters.
Among them, 1,919 are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), it adds.
However, 3,500 policemen have recovered from the viral disease till date. Some 9,361 have been put in home quarantine and 3,112 are in isolation.

Till now, 23 policemen — including a civil staff who was a stenographer of DMP — have died from the Covid-19.
