DGHS reduces Covid-19 sample test fee for outbound passengers
The order will come into force immediately
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has reduced the fee for sample testing to issue Covid-19 free certificates for passengers wishing to travel abroad.
DGHS has fixed the new fee at Tk1500, which was previously set at TK3000, for giving samples going to the lab for the issuance of Covid-19 free certificates for all the institutions.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on 27 December issued a gazette notification in this regard signed by Deputy Secretary Bilkis Begum.

The order will come into force immediately.
The notification also said that the revenue collected from the testing has to be deposited in the government treasury.
The government order to treat and diagnose the heroic freedom fighters, distressed and poor patients along with all medical facilities for government officials / employees will remain in force.
